Announcing the initial list of speakers for the World Sports Leaders Summit

The Abu Dhabi Sports Council, in cooperation with Leaders, announced a list of the most prominent speakers at the World Sports Leaders Summit hosted by Abu Dhabi, at the Convention Center in Yas Marina Circuit. The summit will discuss 4 main themes: leadership - technology - creativity - experience, with the attendance of more than 400 participants From entrepreneurs, and more than 20 speakers to enrich the sessions and events of the summit, which will be held on March 16-17.

The summit comes within the plans of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and its tireless endeavors to consolidate Abu Dhabi's position as a leading destination for international sporting events, as it aims to discuss all that is new in the sports sector under one roof. The summit is also an important opportunity to exchange global expertise and experiences.  


The Abu Dhabi Sports Council revealed the initial list of speakers, which includes Jay Kennings, Executive Vice President of the European Tour of Golf, and Director of the Ryder Cup for the DP World Tour since 2018.

Jay Kennings will participate in the session with Van Otterdyk, Head of Communications at DP World, to talk about the partnership between the European Tour and DP World Tour, the leading brand that has contributed to the growth of golf in the Middle East and North Africa region, and the discovery of many new talents.

Laura George, General Secretary of the French Football Federation, and James Johnson, Chief Executive of Football Australia, will also participate in a session on the development of football in the world, and during the session, various views on male and female sports from young ages to professional levels will be presented.

The summit will be attended by many influential sports figures such as Alexandra Armas, CEO of the Women's European Tour, Simon Corkhill, CEO of the Dubai Desert Classic, Adrian Philby, Commercial Director of Celtic Football Club, Naveen Singh, Commercial Director of the FA, and Ronald Drake, General Manager of Ain Dubai.
