He brushed the pool, worked as a security guard

The 38-year-old bobsleigh athlete Ander Milanbelli from Spain is competing in the Winter Olympics for the fourth time.

Unlike most athletes in this event, Andel's goal is only to participate in all four rounds of official competition.

Andel was a track and field athlete before getting into bobsleigh sports. The sport he wanted to try at first was bobsleigh, but because the equipment was too expensive, he switched to bobsleigh.

"If I were American, my story would have been made into a movie long ago!" Andel said with a smile.

In order to earn money for training and competitions abroad, he brushed the swimming pool and worked as a security guard.

Before the opening of the Winter Olympics, other countries offered Ander an olive branch, but he refused.

He said: "Because I only want to represent Spain in the Winter Olympics, there is nothing more wonderful than seeing the national flag raised at the biggest sporting event in the world." (End)
