The Montbauron stadium, in which the Yvelines club plays, is indeed not up to the standards of this round of the Coupe de France.
FC Versailles was in contact with other structures likely to host the meeting (Troyes, Lens, Paris FC), but gave up "in the face of the many constraints linked to the organization and security of such an event". , preferring to "respond favorably to the proposal of OGC Nice".
