Mortada Mansour talks about a massacre in the Zamalek club and a flying angel with wings

The elected president of Zamalek club, Mortada Mansour, rejected the idea of starting a new page with anyone in the Zamalek club after what happened, noting that his club almost witnessed a massacre, as he put it, because of the presence of thugs in the club’s elections.

Mortada Mansour said during a press conference at the Zamalek Club, which was reported by “Masrawy” website: “God saved the club from a massacre. Although I blame him for his refusal to hold elections in 3 days, he expected that there would be 20,000 members, and I told him that 70,000 would come.”

And the Zamalek club elections witnessed the victory of Zamalek club president Mortada Mansour for a new presidential term, after a period of conflict with Major General Ahmed Suleiman, and Mortada added: “People could have died because of thugs in the elections, but our Lord will cover, our Lord protect the club this day, our Lord.” Save Zamalek and the members on this day, I will not forgive anyone and no one asks me to start a new page after what happened.”

Mortada Mansour continued: "On the day of the elections, I felt that I was a flying angel with two wings, and my concern was the safety of the club's members. We would have entered into a massacre, had it not been for the calm and serenity that God gave me on this day."
