Philip Holm trained on ice with Tre Kronor the day before the quarter finals and is hopeful:
- I feel good.
I have felt good from right after the tackle really and have not had any complications at all.
Even yesterday, when most people in Tre Kronor gave up ice, he did an easier workout in the gym.
- We set up the plan so that I went into the gym yesterday to get some heart rate and then training today so we can see how I react.
But so far I have felt good, he says.
It was at the beginning of the second period in Sunday's match, where Finland turned 0-3 and won 4-3 after extra time, that Holm was tackled by Granlund.
The Swedish hill remained lying on the ice before he was helped by the ice on shaky legs.
He get scared
Here and there it did not look positive.
Holm also managed to get scared.
- Yes, I have seen the situation afterwards and it looks a bit scary, especially when the tackle just takes over.
You have little time to think.
I'm just happy that I felt good and have not had any symptoms so far, he says.
Granlund sent an SMS after the match.
- He got in touch and apologized.
That it was not the intention and the usual.
It's hockey, you get to take things like that sometimes, says Holm, everyday in the Finnish KHL team Jokerit.
