[Commentary] On February 14, Japanese figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu held a press conference at the main media center of the Beijing Winter Olympics.

It is because of everyone's support that I have achieved what I am today.

Of course I want to win three consecutive championships, but that possibility is no longer for me.

So I think I have that kind of pressure.

It is indeed a burden for me, because of this burden, I have to fulfill my promise to achieve the 4A jump on the figure skating rink.

[Commentary] In the figure skating men's singles free skating competition four days ago, Yuzuru Hanyu appeared in 17th place. In the free skating "Heaven and Earth", he failed to successfully challenge 4A, that is, the Axel quadruple jump, in Beijing Winter Olympic figure skating men's singles ranked fourth.

The so-called 4A is known as the "ceiling" of the figure skating world. It is the only one of the 6 jumps that takes off forward and falls backwards. Therefore, it will always jump half a circle more than other jumps. To complete 4A, Need to rotate 1620 degrees in the air.

At present, no figure skater has ever successfully challenged 4A in the official competition.

At the press conference, Yuzuru Hanyu reviewed the 4A jumps during the competition.

When I practiced 4A before the game, my ankle was very seriously injured. If I was in a normal competition, I might have given up. My injury was very serious and my ankle was very painful. When I was warming up before, I decided that I would still do 4A.

I danced the same way I did when I was 9 years old, and my ice-falling skills were exactly the same as when I was 9 years old. So many people all over the world supported me, but my 9-year-old self reached out and held me, and I and 9 The aged self completed the jump together.

Even if I sometimes fail, when I look back at this 4A years later, I will still say that Yuzuru Hanyu's 4A jumped very high, very good.

[Commentary] Talking about whether he will still challenge 4A, Yuzuru Hanyu said that he has resumed 4A practice now, and looking back on his career history, he said that he still wants to go forward and give back to those who support him with his efforts.

I'm not very sad, I see a lot of people applauding me, I'm very grateful to everyone.

I will always be grateful for this ice surface, I thought it might be my last game on this ice surface, so I want to thank this ice surface seriously.

I don't know if I will be able to compete in the next Olympics, but as long as I can skate, I will continue to meet the challenge.
