In the penultimate match at tonight's big UFC gala in Houston, Texas, heavyweights Derrick Lewis and Tai Tuivasa met.

American Lewis - who is the knockout king of all time in the UFC with 13 in number - lives in Houston and tore down the biggest applause of all among his home fans.

But the question is whether they did not get a new favorite last night.

The Australian Tuivasa does not have direct sofa cushions in his fists either, but last night took his fifth straight victory by knockout when he finished Lewis in the second round in a wild and entertaining fight.

Celebrated with a "shoey"

Afterwards, he celebrated in the usual way by asking the spectators for a shoe and a beer to make a "shoey".

Tuivasa then first spits in the shoe, then pours in the beer and then sweeps it out of the shoe.

After the victory against Lewis, he managed three (!) Pieces on his way out to the locker rooms.

The celebration has become so popular that fans are now throwing their shoes at Tuivasa in the hope that he will drink from their particular shoe.

"All Aussies know it"

- It's just something you do when you party with your polar bears.

All "Aussies" know that.

It's not like I came up with this or was the first to do it.

But now it's stuck and become my thing, he explained to ESPN earlier this week.

The victory last night was Tuivasa's biggest in his career.

Derrick Lewis was ranked third in the world among the challengers for the heavyweight belt in the UFC, and Tuivasa, who was eleven, is likely to climb the rankings when it is updated this week.
