It started with a breakthrough in skiathlon, continued with a cool effort in the 10-kilometer race and, most recently, a really weak third leg in the relay.

SVT's length expert Mathias Fredriksson does not really know what to say about Frida Karlsson's Olympics.

- It's not at all like we're used to seeing her.

She started the season brilliantly and even beat Therese Johaug in two individual races and she is nowhere near that now, says Fredriksson.

His suggestion is that Karlsson should try to come up with something other than skiing during the days that remain before Sunday's three miles.

- She should try to break off and do something else but it is not so easy in a pandemic Olympics, you sit there in your glass cage and eat rice and can not do anything else.

She probably just wants to reset and start over from the beginning, but it is not possible, says Fredriksson.

A little less than a week remains before it's time for the three miles.

- I think it's good that she can rest a little but at the same time it's short of time to three miles, it's on Sunday in a week, but what should she do?

She does not need to ski more in any case, she should do something else, just break patterns and hope that the form comes back, says Fredriksson.
