Premier League star accused of assaulting and silencing his "victim"

The British newspaper, "The Sun", revealed accurate information confirmed by the English police that a prominent and international star in a major club in the English Premier League, without revealing his identity, assaulted a girl and caused her great bodily harm.

She said that the matter was carried out in complete secrecy without reaching the media during the year 2019.

She said the victim was forced to accept a settlement to remain silent and not publicly announce the name of the assailant.

It revealed that the star player's lawyer paid money to the victim and reached a legal settlement, which prevented the case from moving to court, thus causing great damage to the player's reputation.

One of the policemen who investigated the incident said that they responded to the girl's call for help, and immediately a case was opened against the player, but the matter ended in a special settlement between the two parties.

And this case comes after a short period of the huge uproar caused by Man United player Greenwood, accused of assaulting and raping his girlfriend, as the case is still ongoing, and he is currently suspended by his club, and other players have been implicated in similar cases.
