The president of the Egyptian Zamalek club, Mortada Mansour, said that his victory in the elections that took place yesterday, Friday, was a harsh lesson, as his list was elected in full, despite the presence of many who participated in the elections for the first time.

The committee supervising the elections in Zamalek had announced, in the early hours of Saturday morning, that Mortada Mansour had won the presidency of the White Castle for a third consecutive term from 2021 to 2025.

Mortada Mansour decided to expel the two former stars of the team, Khaled Al-Ghandour and Mohamed Abul-Ela, from their work on the Zamalek channel, and announced that a press conference would be held next Monday to announce the club’s position on renewing the contract of the team’s stars, Ashraf Bin Sharqi and Tariq Hamed, and Mortada Mansour also stated that he would attend the match between Zamalek and Petro. Murtada said, in statements to Al-Hadath channel after his victory: "Today's lesson was harsh, as the list was elected entirely from respected members who have confidence in me."

Mansour denounced the coverage of the Zamalek club channel for the elections, saying: "The channel that prevented the candidates from showing their programs does not deserve to be the Zamalek channel. Muhammad Abu Al-Ela, you left the channel, as well as Khaled Al-Ghandour, and the channel will return to its owners."
