Team Hasselborg had a hard time getting to the game initially and chose to time out already in the second round, hoping to unravel a tricky situation with several Chinese stones in the center of the nest.

But despite a timeout and further lengthy discussions in the Swedish team about how the subsequent stones would be played, China got three points from the round.

Sweden played during the match and after several mistakes from China in the seventh round, they also caught up to 6-6.

China regained the lead and in the final round, Sweden had to take three points to force an arbitration game.

But the Swedes chose to give up with one stone left and accepted that the match was lost.

Team Hasselborg has now won two and lost two matches in the regular season.

There are still five matches left and the four best teams advance to the semifinals.
