Professional baseball Orix has announced that pitcher Ryoga Tomiyama, who is participating in a camp in Miyazaki, has been infected with the new coronavirus.

This is the first time that an infection has been confirmed during camping at Orix.

In his fourth year as a professional pitcher, Tomiyama pitched in 51 games, the only team in the team to exceed 50 games, with an earned run average of 2.72 and 20 holds.
