Luleå took an important victory in the summit against Borås

In Luleå, it was time for a summit between league three Luleå and five Borås.

And it was the strong away team that grabbed the baton immediately.

22-24 to Borås after the first period was followed by 23-26 in the second period.

The first half ended 45-50.

In the third period, Luleå took the lead but it did not take long before Borås equalized.

But in the end, Luleå was able to go to the final break with a two-goal lead after winning the third period 17-10.

Luleå withdrew in the last period

Before the fourth and final period, it was 62-60 and many in Luleå Energi Arena assumed that it would be a real thriller ending - it did not happen.

Luleå lined up point after point and with two minutes left, the home team had created a ten-point lead.

The scoreboard showed 86-73 to Luleå at the final signal and the points kings were Bryce Douvier (28 points) and De'Riante Jenkins (23 points).

Luleå will face Nässjö in the next round and Borås will face Norrköping.
