Klinsmann rules out the possibility of Bayern and Lewandowski joining the Norwegian Haaland

Former Germany coach Jurgen Klinsmann has ruled out Norway's Erling Haaland from joining Bayern Munich, at least with the presence of Polish international Robert Lewandowski.

In an interview with the French sports newspaper L'Equipe, Klinsmann, who recently coached Hertha Berlin in the German League, said about the possibility of combining the two attackers in the Bavarian club: "For me, this would not be an ideal combination."

Klinsmann added that the two play in the center of the spear and "will oppose each other," noting that Lewandowski and Halland "will be in the same place at the same time."

Klinsmann explained that if Bayern is currently considering the inclusion of Haaland, who is wanted by the most prominent international clubs, "he will certainly wait until Lewandowski leaves."

It is noteworthy that Haaland could leave his German club, Borussia Dortmund, next summer, because his contract includes an exit clause that allows for the termination of the contract for about 75 million euros.

Lewandowski's contract with Bayern, 33, expires after the current season, and Bavarian club officials aspire to renew the contract with Lewandowski, who won the title of best men's soccer player in the world from the International Federation of the Game (FIFA) for the year 2021.
