"Will be the best"

How are you going to celebrate the gold?

- I will celebrate with a week where I do exactly as much as I want.

What have you been longing for the most?

Here Sara Hector takes Olympic gold in giant slalom

A lot of feelings

She describes the Olympic experience as special and nervous.

- It was so extremely emotional.

I've never been so nervous in my whole life.

I was stressed long before, based on the expectations of myself and others.

So I've been pretty stressed.

It was gold in the giant slalom.

In the slalom, Hector had a medal feel, but branched out in the second run.

Then she chose to drop out of the team competition.

- It was the right decision for me.

One of the lessons I have learned in recent years is to listen to my body and how I feel.

So it was the right decision to go home.

Now I can work to maintain this high level.

After the holiday, she is looking forward to finishing strong in the giant slalom cup.

Hector leads the overall compilation.

Three competitions remain.

- It is a big goal for me.

I will be as ready as I can for those competitions and give the iron.
