Details of Mortada Mansour and Suleiman's "stifling" in the Zamalek elections... "He grabbed Hadida and promised to smash his head!"

A violent altercation took place between the candidates for the seat of Zamalek club president, Mortada Mansour and Ahmed Suleiman, hours before the polls opened to elect a new board of directors to lead the club in the next four years.

Sources from within the Zamalek club told "Emirates Today" that the current president, Mortada Mansour, grabbed "Hadeeda" for his rival Ahmed Suleiman and promised to smash his head if he approached the club.

The sources added that some of Ahmed Suleiman's supporters told him of Mortada Mansour's position and threats to him, so he immediately came to the club, accompanied by 150 of his followers, and headed towards the office of the current club president and demanded that he implement his threat to him.

The son of the current president, Ahmed Murtada Mansour, tried to calm the anger of Ahmed Suleiman, and offered him an apology for what happened, without Ahmed Suleiman accepting this apology and insisting that he not leave his place until he saw how Murtada Mansour would attack him and beat him with Hodeidah as he claimed.

A group of sane people from Zamalek club intervened with Ahmed Suleiman to calm him and demand that he leave in front of the club’s president’s office in order to preserve Zamalek’s external image, which Ahmed Suleiman responded to in the end.
