The men's 15 kilometers will be decided on Friday.

But it will be without Emil Iversen who was not taken out by the Norwegian management.

In an interview with NRK, the 30-year-old expresses great dissatisfaction.

When asked if he had been promised a place in the Norwegian team, he answers the following:

- Yes, I have become, he says without wanting to go into details.

Iversen says that he feels badly treated by the Norwegian competition management and that his confidence in them is greatly weakened.

- That I get poked, it's not so strange.

But the process leading up to the selection has been quite daunting and difficult to relate to.

It feels like I've got a knife in my back, he says.

Emil Iversen was selected for the Olympics already in December but has not yet been allowed to ride a single competition.

He was also poked from the skiathlon on Sunday.

Norwegian length manager Espen Bjervig says the following to NRK after receiving Iversen's quote:

- I do not comment on internal processes and I will follow this up further with Emil as this seems unclear to me, he says.

Johannes Hösflot Kläbo, Erik Valnes, Pål Golberg and Hans Christer Holund are the ones representing Norway on Friday.
