Good news for Zamalek fans before appearing in the African Champions League

The general supervisor of the football team in Zamalek, Amir Mortada Mansour, gave good news to his club’s fans, hours before the meeting of Angola’s Petro Atlético in the African Champions League, represented in solving all the outstanding financial problems of the first football team players.

Amir Mortada said in televised statements that Zamalek spent 14 million pounds, the value of late dues to the players, and the bonuses for the league championship for the last season, which the players did not receive, were paid.

He added, "There are large sums that will be pumped into Zamalek after the elections, as it is expected that the club will receive 200 million pounds from sponsorship contracts and rent commercial shops around the club's fence."

Zamalek is suffering from a severe financial crisis that prevented it from renewing the contracts of 11 players whose contracts expire at the end of the next season, led by Ashraf bin Sharqi, Tariq Hamed and Muhammad Abu Jabal.
