The coach of the Egyptian national football team, Portuguese Queiroz, has officially requested the departure of the national coach in his assistant apparatus, Dia El-Sayed, from his technical position as his assistant.

According to what sources confirmed to "Emirates Today", Queiroz handed the Football Association a report on the participation of the Pharaohs in the African Nations Championship, and among his recommendations was the dismissal of Diaa El-Sayed from the position of general coach, along with a member of the administrative and medical staff.

The Football Association is heading to respond to Queiroz's demands in this regard, as part of the Board's keenness to meet all the coach's demands before I meet Senegal in the final stage of the World Cup qualifiers.

Two members of the board of directors, Hazem Emam and Mohamed Barakat, suggested appointing the former Egyptian football star, Ahmed Hossam Mido, to the position of general coach, given his ability to deal with foreign coaches and his good relationship with the players.

The Egyptian Football Association will hold a meeting on the 15th of this month to discuss Queiroz's report, and to resolve the file of the technical staff, as preliminary contacts are taking place with the coach, who is currently on vacation in Portugal, to discuss him in questioning the alternative names, including Mido, Hamada Seddiqi and Mohamed Youssef.
