Barcelona has decided the sponsorship deal for the club, with the current sponsorship contracts "Rakuten" and "Pico" approaching to expire in June.

And Catalan radio station RAK1 reported that the Swedish company, Spotify, to broadcast music and podcasts, will change the name of the Camp Nou stadium to “Camp Nou Spotify” after finalizing the new sponsorship contract with the Catalan club.

According to the radio, the club's sponsorship contract will extend for the next 3 years, starting from next season.

She added that Barcelona will receive 75 million euros from the sponsoring company of the Camp Nou per season from the new sponsorship contract.

And she added, the 75 million will be divided as follows: 60 million for the sponsorship of the first team shirt, 5 million for the training shirt, 5 million for the women's team shirt, and 5 million for the Camp Nou name.

Contrary to Barcelona's initial plans, the stadium naming rights will be for a very short period, and not for 15 years, as the club's management wanted.

Barcelona will negotiate with the new sponsor the amount associated with naming the Camp Nou stadium again when the design is completed, as the Blaugrana are looking to obtain between 20 to 25 million euros per season to launch the name "Camp Nou Spotify" on the club's stadium in the coming years.

The report stated that this agreement would be historic, as it would enable both Barcelona and the Swedish company to reach 800 million followers together on social networks.
