A source for "Emirates Today": An Emirati referee has been appointed as part of the Al Hilal and Chelsea match crew

An official source revealed to "Emirates Today" that the International Football Association "FIFA" appointed the Emirati international referee Ammar Al-Junaibi to be an assistant referee for the video within the crew of the Saudi Al-Hilal match and the English Chelsea match scheduled for today, Wednesday, at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Al-Jazira Club, in the semi-finals of the World Cup. For the 2022 clubs currently in Abu Dhabi, knowing that the match will be moderated by Mexican international referee Ramos Cesar, with the assistance of both assistant referees Alberto and Miguel and Argentine Mauro as video referees.



Al-Hilal Saudi Arabia qualified for the semi-finals of the Club World Cup after its recent victory over Al-Jazira 6-1, while the Chelsea team will play its first match in the tournament.

It is noteworthy that Ammar Al-Junaibi had also appointed an assistant referee for the video in the refereeing team for the match between Al-Ahly of Egypt and FC Monterrey, the champion of Mexico, which was held recently.
