The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, participated today, Tuesday, in the activities of the National Sports Day.

Sheikh Tamim practiced walking in the park walkway of the World Cup stadium, with the participation of a number of primary school students, "in the context of educating young people about the importance of sports and encouraging them to adopt healthy lifestyles and take care of physical fitness," according to the Qatar News Agency (QNA).

The activities of the Sports Day in the 11th edition were launched today in many places, such as "Aspire", "Katara" and "Musheireb", "Al Rayyan" and "Al Bida'a" gardens, in addition to all walking and running tracks and sports fields, and the events were also launched at Lusail Sports Hall. Which were designated during the Women's Sports Day, to practice gymnastics, fitness and others with complete privacy.

All sports activities in this year's Sports Day activities are held in the open air, under the slogan "Sports..
