The national basketball team achieved a deserved victory over its Jordanian counterpart, which came by four points, with a score of "85-81", in a match that brought them together today, Tuesday, at Al-Nasr Club Hall, in the opening matches of the first group in the Arab Teams Championship for men, held in its 24th edition in Dubai until On February 16, seven Arab teams are competing for their title.

The team succeeded by relying on the defense of the region and building quick attacks to surprise the Jordanians, which led "Al-Abyad" to a six-point difference at the end of the first half, with the team's players taking advantage of the results of the first and second quarters by "27-26 and 20-15".

With the start of the second half, the "Jordan Falcons" tried to reduce the difference, so that Al-Nashami succeeded in imposing a tie with the result of the third period "22-22", and then decided the result of the fourth period "18-16", which was not enough for the Jordanians to return with the result of the match.

And starred for the team, Rashid Nasser, by winning the title of best scorer in the match with 22 points, while the title of best scorer for the Jordanian team went to Amin Ismail with 20 points.
