The Beijing Olympics, the first event of snowboarding, the women's slopestyle, will be held on the 6th.



Kokomo Murase, who is in 2nd place in the qualifying, and Reira Iwabuchi, who is in 11th place, will update the competition for the first time in Japan in this event in the final.



The slopestyle of snowboarding is a course divided into 6 sections with obstacles such as rails called "jibs" and jumping platforms, and competes for the difficulty and perfection of the technique.



Murase is the second runner, Iwabuchi is the eleventh runner, and in the final, the higher score of the three runs will be used to compete for the ranking.

The two in qualifying

5日の予選で日本勢は3人が出場し、初のオリンピックに臨んだ17歳の村瀬心椛選手は、2回目の滑走で高さのあるエアを次々と成功させ、81.45の高得点をマークし、2位となりました。また、2大会連続出場となる岩渕麗楽選手も、2回目でそれぞれの技をきっちり決めて67.00の11位に入りました。
