Al-Ahly of Egypt qualified for the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup, currently being held in the UAE, after its victory over Monterrey of Mexico, with a clean goal, today, Saturday, in the second round of the tournament.

Al-Ahly owes this victory to its player Mohamed Hani, who scored the goal of the match (54).

With this victory, Al-Ahly set a date with the Brazilian team Palmeiras in the match scheduled for next Tuesday.

Al-Ahly qualified for this tournament as the champion of the African Champions League, while Monterrey qualified for this tournament as the champion of the CONCACAF Champions League.
