Chae-won Lee, the oldest member of the Korean squad, played her historic race in the women's skiathlon, stepping on the Olympic stage for the sixth consecutive time.

She is 154 cm tall and has run on snowy fields, competing against athletes as young as 10 years old.

As she recently caught a cold and was in poor condition, she was a bit behind in the cold and strong winds, but she did not give up.

About 11 minutes after taking the lead, Chaewon Lee appeared alone.

And it was easy for her to take a hard breath after she crossed the finish line with all her heart and 61st out of 65 contestants.

[Lee Chae-won/Cross-country national team: I wanted to become a mother who is not ashamed, because my goal was to finish.

I think I went hard even if it was difficult because I thought of the people who supported me.]

It was thanks to the support of his family that Lee Chae-won, who announced his retirement from the national team at the end of the Pyeongchang Olympics, was able to try again at the age of 41.

[Jang Jang-seo / Chae-won Lee's daughter (the 25th of last month): She was very proud of her mother who was exercising vigorously, and I believe that she will play nicely without getting hurt as it is a long-awaited time.]

After a difficult first match, Chae-Won Lee had a video call with her husband to give her strength again.

[good job.

You worked hard]

[Thank you.]

[Fighting!]
