The Egyptian team doctor announces the readiness of the winch for the African Cup final

The Egyptian national team played a light training today in preparation for facing Senegal, scheduled for tomorrow, in the final of the African Nations Cup, hosted by Cameroon.

The official account of the Egyptian Football Association on the social networking site "Facebook" stated that the team performed a light training after three consecutive matches that the team played for 120 minutes in each.

He added, "It is scheduled that the technical staff of the Egyptian national team will be satisfied with a single training before the final match of the championship on the evening of tomorrow, Sunday, and that the training will be held at seven o'clock in the evening, according to the organizing committee of the championship."

For his part, Dr. Mohamed Abu El-Ela, the doctor of the Egyptian team, confirmed that Mahmoud Hamdi, "The Winch", had overcome the injury he sustained with a cut in the head, which required stitching the wound in order to complete the match.

The Egyptian team qualified for the final match of the tournament after defeating Cameroon 3/1 on penalties, after the end of the original time of the match and the two extra periods with a goalless tie in the match that was held yesterday, Thursday in the semi-final, to face its Senegalese counterpart, who qualified for the same round after beating Burkina Faso 3 / 1.
