Good news for fans of the Italian League in the Middle East and North Africa

The Italian Football League announced today its continuation of the free broadcast of the “Serie A” matches, through its YouTube channel, exclusively for the Middle East and North Africa, due to the absence of an official carrier there.

The Italian League launched its free channel on YouTube last August, after the expiration of its contract with the Qatari network, beIN Sports.

Five matches from each stage were broadcast free of charge in the Middle East and North Africa.

In its statement today, the association said that starting from the twenty-fourth stage scheduled between Saturday and Monday, and until the end of the season, “the ten matches for each stage will be transferred from (Serie A) exclusively to the Middle East-North Africa region.”

And the Italian League decided to continue with the free transmission of the Middle East and North Africa because it did not find a buyer for the TV broadcasting rights in this region.

The league reported on January 13 that there were no "appropriate offers" for television rights to broadcast matches in this region, and announced in a statement that it would continue to broadcast "free Serie A and Coppa Italia matches for this region via our YouTube channel."
