Six years after a France-Switzerland of Euro 2016, the Blues will make their comeback at the Pierre-Mauroy stadium.

The Villeneuve-d'Ascq enclosure announced on Friday that it would host the friendly match between France and South Africa on Tuesday March 29.

Four days after a friendly against Côte d'Ivoire in Marseille on Friday March 25, Didier Deschamps' men will join the North to challenge another African team.

The opportunity for the coach to try out six months before the World Cup in Qatar which will begin on November 18.

Initially, the Blues should have played a friendly tournament in March in the future host country of the World Cup.

But for economic reasons, France finally refused.
