Crespo announces the list of Syria participating in the Arab Basketball Championship in Dubai

The coach of the first Syrian national basketball team, Spanish Javier Juarez Crespo, announced the list of "Nour Qasioun" participating in the 24th Arab Championship for men's teams, to be held in Dubai, from 8 to 16 February, and eight Arab teams are competing for its title.


The list of the Syrian national team, which was signed by the Spanish coach, and was published by Syrian media, including the “Athar Press” website, included Abdel Wahab Al-Hamwi, known as “Habu”, Jamil Sadir, Tawfiq Al-Saleh, Nadim Al-Issa and Anthony Bakr from Al-Ittihad Al-Halabi Club, Majd Arbasha, Sharif Al-Esh, Ir Idlebi from Al-Wahda Club of Damascus, Tariq Al-Jabi, Anas Shaaban, Omar Sheikh Ali from Al-Karama Club, Elias Azaria from Al-Jalaa Al-Halabi, and Zakaria Al-Hussein from Al-Wathba.


The Dubai Championship is an important preparatory station for the Syrian team, in addition to the teams of Lebanon and Jordan, which are preparing in the last week of this month to participate in the second window of the Asian qualifiers for the 2023 World Cup.
