Al-Wahda with 10 players defeats Arabism... and reduces the difference with Al-Ain to 3 points

Al Wahda scored three very important points, after beating its guest Al-Orouba 4/2 in the match that took place between them this evening in Abu Dhabi, in the opening of the second round of the ADNOC Professional League.

The visitors advanced, through Saeed Obaid "17", and the first half ended at that score.

Omar Khribin equalized for Al Annabi (55), then Ismail Matar advanced for his team in the 65th minute.

However, Ali Mudon managed to tie "80", before Joao Pedro and Adrian Silva re-advanced Al-Wahda, by scoring two goals in succession "83" and "90".

The victory of Al-Wahda over Al-Uruba was not covered with roses. Rather, the owners of the land were exposed to a very difficult situation, when the referee, Hamad Ali Youssef, issued the red card to the goalkeeper, Muhammad Al-Shamsi, at the 12th minute, after referring to the video technology, for obstructing him by the Al-Uruba player Ali Mudon.

In the face of this numerical shortage, the unit faced many problems, especially at the level of the back line, so Saeed Obaid succeeded in exploiting a long ball behind the defenders and scored the goal of progress.

While many expected a strong reaction from Al-Wahda, Al-Uruba was the best party in terms of defense and taking advantage of counter-attacks, and one of them, Khaled Yahya, missed the opportunity to add another goal that was brilliantly saved by substitute goalkeeper Rashid Ali.

But the conditions of the unit improved in the second half, and Omar Khribin managed to take advantage of a corner played by Matar and head it to the right of the goalkeeper.

And from another corner kick taken by Ismail Matar, he managed to put it directly in the goal to ask Ghaith Hussein's goalkeeper about it.

Al-Uruba did not give in to the loss and became active quickly, so that Ali Mudon took advantage of a ball and his link inside the box, and he shot it into the goal.

However, Pedro came at the time of the fight, taking advantage of his mastery of head shots to convert Khalil Ibrahim's cross into a goal.

Finally, the Portuguese star managed to fire a bullet of mercy at Al-Oruba by scoring the fourth goal of a penalty kick, which he successfully executed to the right of the goalkeeper.

Thus, Al-Wahda raises its score to 27 points, three points ahead of Al-Ain, who plays on Saturday with Khor Fakkan, while Al-Uruba's balance is stuck at eight points.
