Heung-min Son (30, Tottenham), who was out of the line due to an injury, directly hinted that his return to the ground was imminent.
Heung-Min Son posted a picture of him stepping on the ground wearing soccer shoes on his social media service (SNS) on the 28th (Korean time).
In the photo, the image of a finger and a soccer ball with a thumbs up along with the phrase 'Soon' was attached.
It is believed that he announced that he had recovered from an injury enough to be able to play soon.
Heung-Min Son, who played the first leg of the England Carabao Cup (League Cup) semi-final against Chelsea on the 6th, was excluded from the team due to a leg muscle injury and has been focusing on treatment and rehabilitation.
Because of this, Son Heung-min was unable to join the Korean national team, which will play the 7th and 8th away matches against Lebanon and Syria in the Asian final qualifying round for the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Tottenham manager Antonio Conte said on the 22nd that "Son Heung-min is recovering well," but regarding the timing of his return, "we have to wait until the end of the match A break."
Local media Football London also reported that Tottenham were worried that Son Heung-min's return would take more than five weeks and he would miss out until mid-February.
However, Son Heung-min is raising expectations by foretelling that his comeback is imminent.
Spurs Web, which delivers the news of the Tottenham club, mentioned Son's SNS post and predicted that "Son Heung-min's return will be a huge boost to Conte, who is about to resume the Premier League."
He added, "For the first time, coach Conte will be able to use all four forwards, Heung-Min Son, Harry Kane, Lucas Mora, and Stevan Bergwein. So it's good," he added.
Tottenham Hotspur are stagnating with 2 wins and 2 losses in 4 matches after Son Heung-min's injury.
They lost twice to Chelsea alone, were eliminated from the League Cup, and experienced their first loss in the Premier League since Conte took over as manager.
Tottenham's first match after the A Match break will be the FA Cup 4 round (round of 32) match against Brighton and Hove Albion on February 6th.
The Premier League will resume on February 10 with a match against Southampton.
