Team captain Jim Gottfridsson has shown the way through the European Championship and played a decisive role yesterday when the Swedes beat France in the semifinals.

Now you are getting ready for the final.

- My biggest dream is to win a gold in Swedish handball, you grew up having seen "Bengan boys" and all these individuals who were fantastic.

At some point, they wanted to stand on the throne and then be able to say that they have won something that all these idols have done, Gottfridsson tells SVT Sport.

"Very hot"

- I am grateful to everyone who has been involved over the years.

Grateful to everyone who has been there.

Not just mom, dad and family, but the kids and girlfriend and all the coaches who have been through the years.

I must also say that I have not always been easy to have in a team.

In the final, which will be played tomorrow at 18.00, they will face Spain.

- We have proven that we are well trained, with that said, it is not to underestimate their willingness to train.

The third time I felt it would have been nice to crack them.
