Zenit and SKA congratulated Petersburgers on the Day of lifting the blockade of Leningrad

FC Zenit has prepared a touching video for the 78th anniversary of the lifting of the blockade of Leningrad.

It lasted 872 days and ended on January 27, 1944.

Fans of the club took part in the filming of the video.

In memory of the victims of the Great Patriotic War, they held an action on Nevsky Piglet, which became one of the symbols of courage, heroism and self-sacrifice of Soviet soldiers.

Participants of the event lit a chain of fireworks on one side, and fireworks were fired on the other.

Then everyone laid flowers at the "Frontier Stone" memorial and sang the famous chant "Hero City Leningrad!".

The message under the video on the official website of Zenit said: “Today we remember and thank everyone whose immortal feat gave us the opportunity to live in the best city in the world.”

In turn, hockey SKA held a training session that day in the Leningrad uniform to once again pay tribute to the memory of the defenders of the Northern capital.

It was sewn specially for the 70th anniversary of the lifting of the blockade.

American commentator recalled the feat of a Soviet soldier

A well-known American mixed martial arts commentator Joe Rogan dedicated a post on Instagram to a Soviet soldier.

He posted a photo showing the same young man before and after the war.

It would seem that only four years have passed, but during this time he has changed dramatically: from a young man full of health and energy, he has turned into a mature man who has seen life, haggard.

In order for subscribers to understand the reason for such changes in appearance, the American spoke about the sad fate of the person captured in the photo.

The soldier's name was Yevgeny Kobytev.

The guy dreamed of becoming an artist, but in 1941 he had to go to the front.

Already in September, the young man was captured and imprisoned in a concentration camp called the Khorol Pit (Dulag No. 160), where about 90 thousand people died.

Kobytev spent two brutal years there before he finally managed to escape.

He then returned to the army and served until the end of the war.

Taktarov thanked for support after beating in Mexico

A veteran of mixed martial arts Oleg Taktarov got into a monstrous story.

UFC 6 tournament winner beaten in Mexico.

The Russian stood up for a girl who had a dispute with the security of a local hotel.

After that, the ex-champion was hit on the head with a baseball bat.

As the athlete admitted, at that moment he was afraid to die.

“I woke up from the fact that I was suffocating, I had a T-shirt on my nose, I wanted to breathe, they beat me.

One jumped on the handcuffs that they put on.

Some kind of fishing line pulled the legs together.

For 30-40 minutes I lay without moving, but they continued to beat me.

Some kind of supermafia structure.

When the police arrived, I breathed a sigh of relief.

I realized that I would survive, because every second I thought about death.

It turned out that it was the federal police, they treated me professionally, ”Taktarov said on the Telegram channel of journalist Alexander Lyutikov.

Two days after the incident, the athlete recorded a video in which he thanked everyone who wished him a speedy recovery.

The Russian said that the wounds had already healed.

According to Taktarov, he has collected a lot of material about the dangers that lie in wait for foreigners in Latin America.

“Attention, everyone traveling here!

I am absolutely sure that you will cope with the problems in the Russian way, but there are those who act on the sly… In general, the people are kind and will help in many situations… But there are groups that feel impunity… Be careful,” the fighter concluded.

Cormier challenged Khabib to the ice

Former two-weight UFC champion Daniel Cormier shared a video of a joint workout with Anaheim hockey players on Instagram.

In the caption to the video, the American turned to Khabib Nurmagomedov, with whom he warmly communicates, and offered to compete.

True, he did not specify in what form.

“I always said that I am the greatest athlete in the history of the UFC.

Last time I skated, I beat Stipe Miocic in the coaching competition.

Did even better this time.

Check out how I worked out with Anaheim, and now I'm waiting for Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Where are you champion?

Ready for 29-1?"

The Russian was not taken aback.

In a story, he replied to Cormier: “Daniel, you know that Russia is better than the USA in hockey.”

Malinovsky became a pilot, and Pavlyuchenkova and Rublev became cooks

In their free time from training, Russian athletes like to try themselves in other professions.

Probably one of the most extreme hobbies of biathlete Igor Malinovsky.

The five-time world champion among juniors cannot gain a foothold in the main team of Russia, but he tries not to lose heart and took up flight training.

Earlier, the athlete passed the Eurocopter AS350B2 helicopter control exam, the Mi-8 is next in line.

As Malinovsky said on Instagram, very soon he will sit at the helm.

“First of all, helicopters.

We continue flight training, but on a different type of aircraft.

Today I passed the ground plane, and this means that in the coming days I will start flying on the Mi-8, ”wrote Malinovsky.

Much more mundane entertainment for Russian tennis players.

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and Andrey Rublev during the Australian Open took part in a master class on the preparation of the Pavlova dessert, named after the Russian ballerina.

The athletes admitted that they usually do not cook at home, so creating a culinary masterpiece was a real challenge for them, which they coped with.

New professions for football players

A funny selection of photos was made by Sport-Express.

The publication suggested how the life of RPL stars would have turned out if they had abandoned their sports career in childhood.

The head coach of Rubin, Leonid Slutsky, was tried on the mantle of a referee - he spoke negatively about their work more than once.

The specialist even admitted that he did not like arbitrators.

CSKA goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev, after filming in the TV series Evgenich, is now associated with the stage, and Zenit forward Artyom Dzyuba, according to the editors, would become an excellent actor.

Still, not everyone dares to wear a Deadpool costume to the awarding of the team.

Khimki defender Yuri Zhirkov turned out to be a tanker.

And this is not accidental either.

The Russian has a rare hobby: he collects items from the Great Patriotic War and even dreams of opening a museum.

And Branislav Ivanovich promised his former Chelsea and Zenit teammate to bring a combat vehicle from Serbia.

Forward "Dynamo" Fedor Smolov at one time was considered not the most respectable citizen.

The striker of the Russian national team has repeatedly violated the rules of the road, for which they even tried to arrest him for 15 days in Krasnodar.

Therefore, the journalists decided to make him a policeman.

Finally, Spartak defender Georgiy Jikia, who sometimes struggles with being overweight, logically appeared in the image of a cook.

The football player in a red and white apron "cooked" one of his favorite dishes - shish kebab.

In Beijing - condoms, and in Omsk - a porn star

At the Games in Beijing, they decided not to refuse the distribution of free condoms, although under the rules related to the coronavirus pandemic, athletes are not even allowed to hug.

However, Reuters journalists found in the rooms five contraceptives packed in multi-colored envelopes with the image of Chinese lanterns.

The action has long been an integral part of the Olympics.

It was first held in Seoul in 1988.

Then the organizers wanted to draw attention to the problem of HIV and AIDS and, of course, to protect the athletes.

Since then, the distribution of condoms has been held regularly at the main competitions of the four-year period.

But if the rubber products at the Games do not surprise anyone, then the recent photo shoot of porn star Eva Elfi in the Avangard hockey outfit shocked Omsk fans.

In the pictures, the girl looks very decent, and in the post she wished the club good luck in the KHL playoffs.

However, as the actress admitted, after posting on Instagram, she received a huge amount of negative comments.

“So much hate!

And they write it with such confidence... They are wrong, they have inaccurate facts, but they write so confidently!

It’s so funny to me from this - from the stupidity of our people, ”Sport24 quotes Eva.

Avangard itself disowned the action.

The club explained such a "case" by the popularity of the team.

“It was an initiative of our partner, a manufacturer of paraphernalia.

In general, we only welcome the fact that Avangard is a trend, including among a non-sports audience, ”Sport Express quotes the press service of Omsk residents.
