This week, North American ice hockey was hit by a new scandal when Jordan Subban was exposed to what he perceived as a racist onslaught.

It got rings on the water in world hockey.

Now Daniel Muzito-Bagenda talks about when he has endured racism.

- For me, it has not been a huge problem since I came up to senior level.

It was mainly in boys' and junior contexts that there could be one or two swear words, he says and continues:

- My problem was that I resorted to violence, instead of confronting in another way.

It's something you can regret today, but at the same time it was my way of dealing with it.

It was well deserved for those who threw the swear words.
