Den 26-årige landslagsspelaren erbjöds ett kontrakt av BC Luleå. Men klubben kunde inte konkurrera med serieledande Norrköping.
Ramstedt återvänder nu till Norrköping och får chansen att försvara SM-guldet som han var med och vann med klubben förra våren.
– Jag och hela Dolphins är enormt glada att få tillbaka honom, säger Norrköpings coach Mikko Riipinen.
Adam Ramstedt spelade i Norrköping i ett och ett halvt år. Efter SM-guldet gick han till den polska klubben GTK Gliwice.
Blev inte som tänkt
It was a tough season for Gliwice, and Ramstedt, who are currently at the bottom of the table.
After only six months, the decision was made to go their separate ways.
- Adam's situation is the only thing that made it possible for us to get him back.
I think he has even more to give in Dolphinslinnet and in Stadium Arena.
He is an incredibly good basketball player who can help in many different ways.
He is very good at playing fast for his size, he handles the ball well and has a good sense of play, says Mikko Riipinen.
Adam Ramstedt is expected to land in Sweden later this week.
It is not yet clear when he will make a comeback on the field for Norrköping.
According to the club, he should be made ready to play as soon as possible.
Norrköping currently leads SBL men and has ten straight victories.
