The round of 16 finally delivered its verdict, Wednesday, January 26, and the posters for the quarter-finals of the African Cup of Nations (CAN) are now known.

Winner of the Comoros at the end of a match bereaved by a deadly crowd movement, Cameroon will find the surprising Gambia, of which it is the first final phase of the African Cup.

Burkina Faso will face Tunisia while Senegal will face Equatorial Guinea.

The clash of the quarter-finals will pit Morocco, convincing winners of Malawi, against Egypt, who emerged victorious in their match against Côte d'Ivoire.

Note that two matches have been moved from the Japoma stadium in Douala to the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium in Yaoundé due to the poor condition of the pitch.
