这是赵宏博的第七次奥运之旅。作为运动员，他经历了四届冬奥会。其中，温哥华冬奥会时他与申雪搭档，为中国夺得史上首枚花样滑冰金牌。退役后，他成为中国花样滑冰队双人组主教练。

赵宏博麾下弟子还没有能够复制他的荣光。面向自己执教的第三届奥运会，赵宏博说，做好了所有准备，要带着队员放手一搏。
