Wheelchair rugby that won the bronze medal at the Tokyo Paralympics.

I followed a man who was aiming to become a representative at the Paris Paralympics two years later.

Kaede Shirakawa (22) from Sapporo, Hokkaido.

When I was in high school, I fell during gymnastics and damaged my cervical spine, lost motor function below my chest, and I still have almost no sensation in my lower body.

When I was hospitalized due to an accident, I met wheelchair rugby and started practicing.

In just four years, he was selected as a candidate for the Tokyo Paralympic Games, but unfortunately he did not reach the national team.

I would like to convey to Mr. Shirakawa, who is struggling toward Paris, through wheelchair rugby.
