Ashleigh Barty is chasing her second title at the Australian Open.
The Australian, who is ranked number one in the world, faced the American Jessica Pegula in the quarterfinals.
And it was a sure victory for Barty.
The world setter had full control and took home the first set 6-2.
In the second set, Barty rose further and did not lose a single game and won the match 2-0 in sets.
- It was very fun today, fantastic atmosphere and now I look forward to the semifinals, she said after the match.
Barty was very pleased with his effort and enjoys playing at home.
