Nick Kyrgios went out of the Australian Open already in the second round in singles, but in doubles he, together with Australian compatriot Thanasi Kokkinakis, is ready for the semifinals.

During the quarterfinals against Tim Puetz from Germany and Michael Venus from New Zealand, Kyrgios had an outburst of anger and fired the ball into the stands - where it hit a child who started to cry.

When Kyrgios realized what he had done, he gave his racket to the child.

Firma Kyrgios / Kokkinakis won 7-5, 3-6, 6-3 in front of an ecstatic home crowd.
