Increasing the capacity of the mass attendance to 100% in the Saudi-Oman match

 The Saudi Ministry of Sports announced raising the capacity of the public attendance exceptionally to 100% in the match of the Saudi national football team against the Omani team, to be held in the seventh round of the Asian qualifiers for the World Cup in Qatar.

And the ministry said in a statement today, Tuesday: “In continuation to support the march of the first Saudi football team in its important journey in the final Asian qualifiers, qualifying for the World Cup 2022 in Qatar, and based on the approval of the concerned authorities to follow up on the developments of the Corona virus, it was decided to raise the capacity for attendance. The public will exceptionally reach 100% in the match of our national team against its brother, the Omani team, next Thursday, January 27, 2022 AD, at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, within the seventh round of the qualifiers.

The ministry indicated that the attendance of the fans for this match will be limited to members of the fans who have received the Corona virus vaccine, according to the minimum age specified for taking the vaccine, which is five years, according to their condition in the “Tawakkalna” application.

The statement added, "The Ministry would like to emphasize the sports fans the need to fully adhere to the application of precautionary measures, and to wear masks at all times, provided that the concerned authorities follow up on the implementation of this, and take the necessary action in the event that any violations are detected, in order to preserve the safety and health of everyone."

The Saudi team is at the top of Group B in the qualifiers with 16 points, four points ahead of the Japanese team.
