Abu Dhabi Sports Council and Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala) have announced the renewal of their partnership to "support and enhance efforts to build a healthy and healthy society in Abu Dhabi", through Mubadala's sponsorship of a number of local and international community sporting events and activities, and the company's continued support of the Council's efforts and activities to enhance Abu Dhabi's reputation and position as a destination prestigious sports.  

The agreement allows for the provision of a variety of sports programs and activities, with the aim of raising the level of sports education and improving the levels of physical fitness for various members and segments of society, in addition to consolidating and promoting a healthy and sound lifestyle among members of the community in Abu Dhabi. 

Aref Al Awani, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, said: "This partnership (...) will allow the council to continue its efforts and world-class activities for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, especially with our aspirations for a new phase of our plans and programs aimed at encouraging and promoting a healthy and balanced lifestyle throughout Abu Dhabi." 

For his part, the Deputy Group CEO and CEO of Corporate Affairs and Human Resources at Mubadala, Humaid Abdullah Al-Shamri, said: "We seek, by working with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, to allow all members of society to maintain a healthy and sound pattern."

The Abu Dhabi Sports Council had announced this week that Mubadala will join the UAE Cycling Tour 2022 as a "national partner", in addition to the company's sponsorship of the Al Ain stage of the tour, which will be known from now on as the Mubadala stage, and more events and community initiatives will be announced in the near future.
