  [Explanation] During the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, all venues in the three major competition areas of Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou will use green electricity, which means that for the first time in the history of the Olympic Games, 100% green electricity will be supplied to all venues.

Green electricity refers to the electricity converted from renewable energy by means of wind power, hydropower and solar photovoltaic.

The Green Winter Olympics are embodied in various fields such as construction, transportation and power supply, all of which are aimed at reducing carbon emissions during the preparation and holding of the event, and achieving the goal of "all carbon emissions generated by the Beijing Winter Olympics will be neutralized".

The Zhangjiakou Winter Olympic Village is constructed in accordance with China's highest green building three-star standard, and all the electricity used for room heating comes from wind power.

The Zhangjiakou competition area has built high-standard domestic sewage treatment facilities, and the domestic sewage in the competition area will be fully collected, fully treated and reused.

At present, the maximum daily hydrogen production capacity of Zhangjiakou is about 13 tons. With the opportunity of preparing for the Winter Olympics, Zhangjiakou City vigorously develops the hydrogen energy industry, forming a whole industrial chain of production, storage, transportation, addition and use.

  We use Zhangjiakou's green power to produce green hydrogen, and we are the hydrogen supply unit for the (Beijing) 2022 Winter Olympics. Our current full-load output is four tons of hydrogen per day, which can meet more than 400 (hydrogen) fuel cell buses. needs of the day.

  [Explanation] It is understood that Zhangjiakou's developable wind energy resource reserves have reached more than 40 million kilowatts, and the developable solar energy capacity has reached 30 million kilowatts.

When the demand for electricity is high, Fengning Pumped Storage Power Station will send the stored electricity to the grid, which is equivalent to backing up a large "charging treasure" for the entire grid. Through energy complementation and collaborative work, the power safety operation of the Winter Olympics venues is guaranteed. .
