Al-Wathba team continued its lead in the Syrian Premier League, after its broad victory over Al-Harjala, 4-0, in the match that brought them together, for the eleventh round of the championship. Yesterday, it was also recorded that the defending champion Tishreen team was satisfied with a goalless draw at home with its guest Al-Karama.


The round also witnessed the loss of Al-Fatwa in front of Al-Talia by a score of “1-3” in a match held at Tishreen Stadium in Damascus, before the round continued to frown in the face of its owners, with the fall of the police with a clean double in front of its neighbor Al-Wahda, and the same result was repeated by Hattin’s victory over Al-Nawair with two clean goals, and to violate Al-Ittihad Al-Halabi expects to be satisfied at its stadium in Al-Hamdania with a 1-1 draw against Afrin, and the curtain falls on the round with a negative tie in the meeting of the Army and its host Jableh


With this victory, Al-Wathba moved away to the top of the general standings, raising its score to 26 points, four points behind Tishreen, its closest follower, while Al-Wahda jumped to third place with 20 points, one point behind the fourth-ranked Army, and Jableh maintains its fifth position with 16 points. Al-Karama ranked sixth with 15 points, while Al-Ittihad's draw led to its relegation to seventh place with 14 points. Points, at the expense of the police, who fell to the 12th place with a freeze at the ninth point, and both Al-Nawa’ir and Afrin are in the 13th and 14th places at the bottom of the standings with 6 and 3 points, respectively.


Al-Wathba succeeded in controlling the Al-Harjala meeting, by opening the scoring early two minutes after the start whistle through Abdul Razzaq Al-Bustani, before Anas Al-Bouta doubled the score for Al-Hargla in the 41st minute, which was followed in the second half by Saad Ahmed scoring the third goal at the 68th minute, and then adding Maher Daaboul scored the fourth goal at the 77th minute of the match.
