Substitute Able Gallo snatched a goal in stoppage time as Gambia stunned its rival Tunisia by beating them 1-0 and clinching second place in Group F of the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon on Thursday.

Gallo hit a powerful ball, followed by Tunisia goalkeeper Bashir Ben Said, who hit the net in the fourth minute of stoppage time for the match.

Gambia, which is participating for the first time in the African Cup of Nations, raised its tally to 7 points in second place, with Mali, the leaders, who won 2-0 against Mauritania, but Mali excels by goal difference.

Tunisia finished third and will face Nigeria in the semi-finals.
