This is training to improve the perfection of figure skating choreography.

[Cha Jun-hwan / Figure Skating Olympic Representative: Could it have been more helpful in areas such as expressiveness… I think I put more passion into this season.]

Cha Jun-hwan could not go to Canada with a coach due to the spread of Corona 19, so he virtually prepared for the Olympics alone for the past two years.

He also designed his own training program, focusing on improving his art and skill scores evenly.

In addition to dancing, we strengthened the leg muscles and the 'power zone' necessary to perform four-round jumps through various training such as boxing and balance training.

[Lee Ho-jeong/SBS Figure Skating Commentator: In order to run a 4-round jump, instantaneous power, balance, and complex parts must be completed before landing... .]

With constant effort, the jump distance increased and the rotation speed increased, resulting in an increase in the success rate of all four jumps.

Cha Jun-hwan, who also won the Grand Prix medal for the first time in three years, is recharging his confidence ahead of Beijing.

[Cha Jun-hwan / Figure Skating Olympic Representative: I think the 'premonition' is good.

I think I can set a personal best (personal best).

I wish I could act like that that can 'impress'.]

Cha Jun-hwan will check his condition for the last time this week at the 4 Continents Championships.
