Algeria's "wrongful" team exits the African Nations with the worst scenario!

Algeria, the "title holder", bid farewell to the African Nations Championship, with the worst scenario and from the first round, after its big loss to Ivory Coast 1-3 in the match that took place between them today, Thursday.

The Greens took the last place in the fifth group, with a score of only one point.

The "unfortunate" Algerian team presented their worst performance in the tournament in front of Ivory Coast, as its players seemed to retreat to the back areas, and the Ivory Coast had the opportunity to take advantage of the situation, and its player Ibrahim Sanjarh missed an opportunity to score from a shot inside the box, which the defense removed for a corner kick.

But the Algerian team woke up after that and its danger appeared at some periods, and he had an opportunity to threaten goalkeeper Sangare’s goal, through a header by the advanced defender Mandy, but it went out along the post, then Baghdad Bou Najah returned and missed another attempt that he had inside the box, as he wanted to shoot the ball. In a showcasing, the game finally settles off the field.

The crossbar prevented Algeria from scoring its first goal, when Riyad Mahrez cleverly passed a ball to Ismail Bennacer, who shot it from close range and hit the post.

But the response of the Ivory Coast came strong and violent, as Singereh led an organized attack from the right, and distributed it to Frank Casey, he did not find it difficult to deposit the ball to the right of Mbwahi.

Matters became more complicated for the Algerian team, which conceded another goal with a header played by Senger, in the absence of supervision from the Greens players.

In the second half, things were not well for the Algerian team, which was unable to penetrate the agglomerated defense of the Ivory Coast, while the "elephants" relied on counter-attacks, which made clear their danger, through a shot saved by Mbahi.

But the Ivory Coast's attempts then succeeded in adding a third goal, through Nicolas Pepe, with a tight shot that settled to the right of the goalkeeper.

Unfortunately, the Algerian team had a penalty kick, which was awarded by its first star, Riyad Mahrez, but the post tackled the game and prevented the Greens from reducing the difference.

The Algerians continued their struggle to amend the result until Sofiane Ben Darbaka managed to exploit a lost ball inside the box and head it into the net.
