A strong message from Uganda's coach to FIFA.. Iraq is better than 20 African countries

The Iraqi and Ugandan teams will play at 8:00 pm tomorrow, Friday, a friendly match as part of Iraq's preparations to face Iran in the seventh round of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, scheduled for Thursday, January 27, at Azadi Stadium.

The Iraqi Football Association aims to provide an important preparation opportunity for the Lions of Rafidain and also to send a message to FIFA that Iraq is capable of hosting matches and providing the required atmosphere for the ban on Iraqi stadiums to be lifted.

For his part, the Ugandan-Serbian national team coach Micho described the security situation in Iraq is "better than at least 20 African countries hosting international matches at the present time," calling on FIFA to lift the ban on Iraqi stadiums.
