The UAE national team overcomes Oman's obstacle in the Asian Handball Championship

Today, the first national handball team succeeded in overcoming the obstacle of the Omani team, after winning it 24-23, to revive its hopes in the 20th Asian Championship for men's teams, which is currently being held in Saudi Arabia, and extends until the 31st of this month, which qualifies for the 2023 World Cup in Sweden. and Denmark.


With its victory over Oman, the team succeeded in making up for yesterday's loss against Iraq with a score of "31-32", in the opening matches of the third group, especially since Iraq suffered a loss against Qatar yesterday, with a score of "37-22".

The team concludes the first round tomorrow with a fateful meeting against Qatar, the leader of the group, with a full score and a balance of six points, especially that Al-Abyad needs to win to ensure qualification.
